NDIS services

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government program that provides funding to eligible Australians with permanent and significant disabilities. It is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The NDIS supports people who have:

  • A permanent disability (lifelong), and
  • A significant disability that substantially affects their ability to complete everyday activities.

What the NDIS Funds

The NDIS funds reasonable and necessary supports — the supports that are:

  • Essential for the participant, and
  • Best funded by the NDIS (rather than other systems like health or education).

These supports help participants achieve their individual goals, increase independence, and participate more fully in daily life.

Can I use Evergreen Clinical Nutrition as an NDIS participant?

Yes, you can.

As an AARPN-registered Certified Practising Nutritionist (CPN), I am recognised as an Allied Health professional. The NDIS allows participants to access appropriately qualified and experienced non-registered Allied Health providers like myself.

This gives you the freedom to choose the right practitioner for your specific needs.
